The US-based Carlson Group, in collaboration with Rising Hotels and Country Development & Management Services (CDMS), today launched a three-star business hotel, Country Inn & Suites, in Ahmedabad. The Carlson Group-managed 68-room hotel has been set up with an investment of Rs 25 crore.

Tata Nano booking Made easy for buyers

ANTICIPATING A major rush for its small car Nano, which is being launched on March 23, Tata Motors has ensured that the car can be booked at multiple points. A customer can book the car at any Tata dealership, any Croma outlet, any Westside outlet and the booking can even be made online.

To book the car, the customer will have to fill a Rs 300 application form and deposit an amount equal to 70 to 80 per cent of car’s price as booking amount. The form can be deposited at any SBI branch or the place, where it was bought and the payment can be made through a draft or cheque.

Ahmedabad set to become Vodafone's services hub

In a bid to increase efficiency, telecom major Vodafone Essar is set to relocate over 1,500 of its employees to Ahmedabad from all over the country.

With Vodafone planning to make Ahmedabad its services hub, the city is all set to see an influx of telecom professionals from across 23 circles of the company. What’s more, Vodafone also plans to integrate certain international services at the hub.

Vodafone, which is setting up a shared-service centre in Ahmedabad at an investment of Rs 200 crore, had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government for this purpose.
