With India having taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have been rested for the third and concluding match of the ODI series against South Africa at Ahmedabad on Saturday.

The national selection committee that met in Chennai on Thursday included Karnataka fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun and middle-order batsman Rohit Sharma in the team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
